Nice ambience, great food. Menu is diverse, never found a Jackfruit dish in US. Really like to appreciate the gesture of the chef, we ordered chicken appetizer for our 5 year old and told them to keep it mild but it came off little hot so our daughter wasn’t eating. The chef came up and offered to prepare malai chicken for her. It was delicious and our daughter finished it. Definitely coming back.

We ordered Veg fried Momos, jackfruit biryani and aloo paratha. Jackfruit (raw) biryani was tasty with a spicy and sour flavor. It had plenty of Jackfruit pieces that were perfectly cooked. Fried Momos were good. Aloo paratha had very little stuffing and was more like roti. They also have some items on their menu which are not available in other restaurants in Champaign like mehi matar malai, Lasooni Gobi, Avocado Jhalmuri, Jackfruit Biryani. Some of the food items can be made Vegan on request and are clearly marked on the menu. The staff are friendly. The atmosphere is nice.

Miscellaneous: Restrooms are not very clean.

The Server, although sweet, must've been very distracted because she mixed up instructions on the tickets, which was supposed to be two (they brought us one and charged each paying customer for the opposite customer's food).

Anyway, my food might have tasted good to me if the Server had told the chef the right meal to add hot spices to. I started coughing and could not eat my food while my eyes and nose watered. I ended up eating another person's food at our table, which was quite delicious to me, but was supposed to be spicey.

When we told the Server of the mistakes, she just said she was sorry and walked away.

The bathroom seemed sketchy, with holes in the wall and screws for hot and cold handles on the lavatory. On a good note, the bathroom was clean.

Also, if you want to eat there, be sure to bring enough money/coins for parking. The Server, trying hard, just didn't seem to understand that I needed enough change for two cars and kept trying to give me one dollar bills back for change instead of coins for the meter.

The decor was quite nice. I don't think this is good enough to encourage me to return.

I had such high hopes.

DASHED!

Extremely disappointing experience lately. We ordered a samosa chaat that cost around $8, and what we got was barely even a proper bite. The portion was shockingly small, lacked flavor, and honestly felt like a joke. For that price, you’d expect at least a decent portion and taste. You can get two full-size, delicious samosas elsewhere for just a couple bucks more.

To make things worse, they messed up multiple items in our order. When we brought it up, instead of taking responsibility, the staff gave weak excuses like “we’ve tested it before, it used to be tasty.” That kind of attitude shows zero accountability.

The dine-in environment isn’t any better- the place was warm and stuffy, with the A/C barely working. Honestly, it’s not worth your time or money.
Avoid this place. There are far better Indian restaurants around.

This was our first meal there. I do not recommend the bone in goat meat dish. I won't have it again. There's far too much bone, limited meat, and too much gristle and fat. The sauce it came with, however, was SPECTACULAR. That said, my wife had the cubed lamb in cashew sauce, and it was EXCELLENT. The calamari appetizer was really good, and I'm not a fan of calamari. This was very tender.

I was in for dinner on 6/30/25 with a group of friends. There was no air conditioning and very few small fans running. To say it was miserably hot would be an understatement. You would think that being as warm as it was, they would have at least offered to put ice in the waters. We were unsure how many people were going to be in our party so tables were put together. When they found that 8 of us were going to be there, they took the other table away leaving us somewhat crammed together. I ordered a blue moon which came out a couple inches short of the glass with no head and not very cold. Drink orders came out at varying times and not in a very timely manner despite the fact that they were not busy. Our food was good however, spicier than some of us prefer as we were not given a spice level option this time. It came out hot although at different times which made it a little awkward for the party. Portion sizes are great and we all took leftovers being as it was too warm inside the building for us to comfortably eat hot food. I do hope the next visit is better and I can revise my opinion on this establishment.

First of all there was no air conditioning. We ordered our food and asked for Separate Checks I ordered mine spicy and my sister-in-law ordered normal. My sister-in-law's food was so hot and spicy she couldn't even eat it. Mine was not spicy at all. The checks were not separated as we had asked and we told them three separate times how to separate the checks and they still kept getting it wrong. They made no offer to rectify the fact that my sister-in-law's food was so hot she could not eat it. We had a 3 year old child with us and they gave her a glass they did not even offer a cup for her or a straw.
It was my birthday and I had looked so forward to going. I was very disappointed in the service and the attitude. The food was okay, I don't think I will be going back anytime soon
