Purchased from this place to over a year ago for my business. Had an amazing experience. Everyone was friendly. They even showed me around. So coming back was a no brainer. This morning I received 2 calls back to back I was unable to answer. Checked the voice and it was Curtis the owner asking for payment. Called him back on the way to a business meeting to let him know I was driving. And I would call after the meeting since I was receiving a new card for the business and I was intrested in using it. He proceeded to ask for payment. And I told him after my meeting g I would be more tha. Happy to make a payment. Within a quick period of time I received another text asking for payment. So at this point I am upset. I feel it's unprofessional. So I speak my mind about the situation and express I feel he's being g unprofessional. He than proceeds to tell me he does not appreciate my tone and if I'm not happy with the phone calls they will just process my payment after 3pm with the card on file. So unprofessional and he's the owner.

Owner Curtis gave me a great deal, picked two out, ran the machines in front of me, helped me measure, load and helped me strap in my new refrigerator cooler, I would definitely recommend trying them out. Thank you from Muzzy’s Bagels.

Spent a sizeable amount on a few pieces of restaurant equipment and was extremely disappointed. I've bid/won a number of auctions from real estate to eBay to Ritchie Bros. construction equipment auctions and have a clear understanding of "as is". My main problem with this bunch is the pictures they post and their descriptions. At first I thought that maybe they just didn't have a very good camera. Why in the world it didn't strike me that if they're in the auction business that they should buy a better camera is beyond me. I guess I try not to think the worst in people but was a huge mistake with these guys. The pictures were intentionally low res, blurry or out of focus. They were taken intentionally from angles to hide broken trim pieces, casters, entire housing for juicer, etc. I STRONGLY suggest that you either go look at what you're bidding on in person or specifically request normal, in focus, not grainy pics and ask for multiple angles. There is a reason that they take the bare minimum of pics in my opinion.

Another thing that I find curious is how many of my auctions went all the way up to my high bid and then stopped, allowing me to "win" the auction.

I've included a few screen shots of the coincidental high bid's. May be a sincere coincidence but I find it very curious.

Overall the worst experience with an online auction in my life so I strongly recommend that you do not bid or do business with these guys. Period.

P.S.- Go look at the reviews on Google, the name that gives repeated 5 star reviews, Curtis VanBrocklin, is the owner of Texas Restaurant Equipment Auction according to their business card. He seems to think highly of his company judging by his reviews. Just shady....

Buyer beware. Do your research. They don’t given good descriptions or post good pictures so come do a walk thru if you can. I wouldn’t recommend buying any refrigeration from here. But for tables, pans, and misc items this is a gold mine. As is means as is. And the guy in the back is very rude and needs to speak up and make eye contact. Also the huge pothole that isn’t covered and even highlighted needs to be fixed. You expect me to drive around the building over random metal pieces and a huge pothole? Horrible system to pull in and exit

The owner was very rude when asked about pricing on a listing, he was advised if it had ended it might be a good idea to remove it. He then continued to call a potential customer a loser, told them they couldn’t read and that they were basically stupid.

Horrible business, horrible customer service... if I could give it negative stars I would.

I inquired about equipment, I was told the auction had ended, I advised the owner it might be a good idea to remove old listings to clear up an confusion. He (she) then proceeded to call me a loser and a joke!

Steer clear of the business they’re so unprofessional it’s unbelievable!
