Hice un reclamo por una lavadora que viene como una unidad compacta lavadora/secadora. Me dijeron que el costo de la reparacion de la lavadora sobrepasaba el limite. Finalmente despues de una negociacion me ofrecieron mandar un cheque de $550 que solo cubre una porcion para comprar una unidad completa. Me dijeron que tardaba de 6 a 8 semanas en ser recibido. Ya vamos por la semana 12 y no he recibido el cheque. Llamo a la compania y nadie sabe porque no se ha enviado o cuando se va a enviar. Estoy sin lavadora desde hace 12 semanas. Sigo esperando una respuesta.

PLEASE DO NOT ACCEPT BEING A VENDOR FOR THIS COMPANY. We did repair work in December 2024 with a 30 day payout, it is now April 2nd and every time we call they tell us we are on the next cycle for payouts. Rodney is rude and we are currently out $500.00 for a motor we bought of our own business expenses expecting to be paid within 30 days and have yet been paid. Our franchise will be taking them to court if we do not receive back what we have already paid and repaired

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! I had AHS and thought they were terrible but ServicePlus is way worse. Refrigerator stopped working last week. I did a virtual diagnostics and it was determined the compressor, which is covered, was faulty. A week later, they are "still trying to find a technician who will service my refrigerator" and then they will order the part. How backward is that? And one of the reps had the nerve to talk over me when I was asking questions! The sales guy who got me to sign on told me so many things that were untrue. They are not even accredited on BBB.

The WORST home warranty company out there. Do not waste your time or money! No matter what deal they have going on, do not do it!! My furnace stopped working on Monday. I filed a claim immediately and was left in the dust. It was 2 degrees in Colorado and I needed it fixed. I couldn’t wait and had my own technician come out and it cost me $334 out of my own pocket but I had no choice. Finally, the following Monday (7 days later) they got me a technician. I had to cancel them because I already got it fixed. Service plus is not allowing any kind of reimbursement because I did not get approval first. I have paid for this warranty for 2 years with no claims until now. They are total rip off and I will never recommend them to anyone! Go with First American!

I made the decision to obtain a home warranty at the encouragement of a family member. I chose Service Plus based upon what they claimed to offer, and reviews.
To save others from wasting money as I have I am writing a review, which I do not often do. I put in a claim for a plumbing issue, specifically that my main water valve needed replacement in order to prevent extremely expensive damage throughout my home. A plumber told me this repair was needed. Service Plus stated that they do not pay for plumbing issues that are not something that is already broken so it was not covered, even though this part was broken and was responsible for keeping additional plumbing from breaking.
I put in a claim for a jetted tub motor that they claim to cover, but they would only pay $200, which was a very small percentage of the actual cost.
I put in a claim for an oven that was no longer heating. They determined that the repair would be more than replacement, but then would only pay $300 toward a stove/oven replacement, which was again only a small percentage of the actual replacement cost. I was told I would receive the $300 3.5 months ago and still have not received that.
Keep in mind that I also paid $200 on top of the monthly fee each time I had a service provider sent by Service Plus to provide a bid for repair. I did not receive any of the money back on any of my claims.
I have cancelled this warranty early and now paid a $50 early cancellation fee, and they said I will now NOT receive the $300 for the most recent claim.
Do not utilize this home warranty company if you don't want to completely waste your money.

Our pool pump went out July 2024. We purchased a new one because the contractor said he couldn’t (we found out after that he didn’t want to wait for his money). I submitted reimbursement paperwork on August 13, 2024. Service plus says they mailed a check on November 18 (90 days after I submitted reimbursement paperwork). We never received the check. Fast forward to January 2025 and they tell me I can pay $35 to stop payment on a check I never received or wait 90 days since the issuance of the check for another to be issued. I’ve tried talking to supervisors to no avail. I’ve asked to speak with supervisors supervisors and nothing. DO NOT GET A WARRANTY FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE A JOKE. THEY LOOK FOR ANY POSSIBLE MEANS TO NOT PAY. They said if I have a complaint to come here so fair warning…SERVICE PLUS IS NOT A GOOD COMPANY AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS.

This company is a scam! I signed up for a three-year prepaid contract, and during that time, I had one issue with my refrigerator, which they claimed was "not covered under the contract." Then, at the end of the three years, they automatically enrolled me in a rolling contract without my consent and started charging my credit card monthly. I had to cancel my card and get a new one just to stop the charges.

I tried calling them three times to cancel, and on my last attempt, I was finally told that I couldn’t cancel my so-called “contract”—a contract I didn’t even know I was in! They couldn’t provide any information on what would happen if I stopped paying or what would happen at the end of this so-called agreement. Then they hung up on me!

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS SERVICE! IT’S A SCAM!

Remember that you have a contract with this company. If they don't respond in a timely manner, make you call them to follow up every time, etc., they have already broken the contract and you can go after them based on contract law. Their scam is to hire people who say they can fix it, but it will take 6 weeks to get the part. Then you have to call them to figure out why the guy isn't scheduling an appointment. Then the guy comes and says - Oh, the part didn't work. Now you have to call them to get your money for a new one (which they will claim is depreciable - make sure you know what that means. You can search the item and find it's original price, and then search the CPI to determine the rate items have depreciated). They will then say, they are waiting for the technician to file a report. So you have to call them again. Then they argue about how much your item has been depreciated. Finally, when they have agreed on a price, they will tell you 6-8 weeks FOR PROCESSING- then they'll mail it. Then you call them after 8 weeks, and they say, it's been 8 weeks, we'll check on if it's been mailed. In all of this, you have to call them. They do not update their website on your item. They do not call you with an update. There is no way to track your check or the progress of your claim. If you're willing to fight, and call and call and call. They may actually honor the contract. But I'm calling a lawyer.
