I'm super lenient and understanding when it comes to giving reviews. I am one of those who are more likely to give a review for excellent service than anything else. But Rotech has become a safety hazard for the community. People and the hospitals that refer them need to be warned. The first two times that I used their service, i had a good experience, and all the employees provided quality service.

However, this time around, I have had delivery drivers try to scam me, try to get out of their very basic responsibilities, and deliver equipment that doesn't work. I was fearing for my life, begging them to deliver a working concentrator before my tank ran out of oxygen. The delivery had already been scheduled, they just didn't want to do their job.

Customer service has also flipped a switch. I don't think I've ever had someone be dismissive while I was very clear and kindly just trying to get service. They need to dissolve.

Northside should drop using this business for needed hospital equipment upon discharge. A hospital bed and wheel chair were delivered today . But the wheelchair did not have a seat cushion . When I called the office, I was advised that the order was for a wheelchair only. I would have to get a cushion on my own elsewhere. Really!? What good is the chair without a cushion AND why wasn’t this shared when the chair was ordered? I will be returning the chair and look elsewhere for a complete wheelchair!

Northside Hospital provided us with this company’s contact number, and I called the Rotech office four times to set up oxygen at home. Rachel, the receiver, answered the phone but hung up twice initially. On the last call, she took the family member’s name, date of birth, and the discharging hospital’s name, stating she will tell the ladies, and then hung up. Seriously!!!

This behavior is highly unprofessional and irresponsible. Patients in need of oxygen are often in life-and-death situations, and such negligence is unacceptable.

First they try to deliver the equipment while my mom is in the hospital, then she gets discharged and I now have called 5 times to get her oxygen delivered. Each time they have no order placed previously, which is an obvious lie because there was a tag on the door! Now she is out of oxygen, a lung cancer patient with COPD recovering from a pneumonia and basically trying to murder my mother. Northside Gwinnett and Rotech are terrible places for elderly and are abusive, rude and negligent!

Terrible service! They gave me a used bed and said it was new, the stickers were already peeled off and the bed made noises when you moved it up or down. Also in three different occasions I called for different things and one call they tell you it is all resolved and then you call back to check and no one knows anything about it or "it's not in their system". Awful company and awful customer service.

This place is a huge ripoff!! I returned my machine with many unopened supplies (several supplies that I never authorized OR requested) and I got NO credit for the unopened supplies and they won’t adjust the balance of my bill even though they got the products returned in a timely manor and many items were unopened. I guess they double dip when they fill an order for the next customer, using supplies that were returned by me!! I contacted customer service and they said I could only get credit if it was authorized through sleep central I had called them to get the box to return the supplies in but I did not know I had to request a credit for unopened supplies Common sense tells me this should be an automatic credit. I had only had the supplies and machine less than 2 months. They shipped me supplies I never ordered, charged my insurance company and billed me for $94.29 my insurance did not cover. I WONT PAY THIS BILL. Ridiculous, especially when I did not even order the supplies. I only ordered a different face mask to try, but they kept shipping other supplies I did not order. If I could give them 0 stars I would!

Horrendous customer service for any business, not to mention for lifesaving medical equipment. I help my mother in dealing with them and they have the worst customer service. When deliveries are scheduled for a date, they just don’t show up. I have to call them to follow up. No explanation, no apologies, just a caustic level of apathy.

Rotech Decatur, your people hate their jobs and hate your customers. Please invest in some customer service training and do a reboot on your culture.
