I have had a few issues with the device. I have ended up with a few retest refusals. I was told at my service appointments that it was probably prompting me for a retest while I was shutting my vehicle off. Also it took forever to get the blow, suck, blow test down. Also when I went in for my final recalibration, Engle's tells me that this company owes them $4,000 and that they are suspending interlock work until they get paid. I called them and told them you had better take care of it. They were supposed to have sent my declaration of compliance form to PennDOT 3 weeks ago and PennDOT never received it.

Interlock is the second place we went through to get a device installed. Initially things started of ok and then slowly went down hill. There are only 3 fulltime employees that work there meaning anyone and everyone you talk more than likely wont be there the next day therefore, anything that was to be done may not happen which in turn will cause the person working for the other person will not be aware of your call and in turn you will get yet another call OR YOUR DEVICE WILL GET LOCKED OUT because no one is doing their job. There is a lot of miscommunication between Vendor and installer which then makes major issues for installer and driver when things are not relayed properly... our experience has gone as follows: device gets installed after being installed basically husband was told you are the guinea pig for this device we are still learning on this... gets paperwork from penn dot that was not completed only to find our after a phone call from Interlock that the installer was to give husband paperwork that he was to send back to interlock only to find out the paper penn dot sent was supposed to be sent in by interlock... we then get another phone call regarding whether or not we wanted to be on auto pay... which was set up initially when the installation had to be paid for... then comes the first calibration husband shows up at installer well I have nothing here stating you need a calibration. What do you mean? you have to call interlock so they can send the device in to calibrate... so my husbrand loses half a day of work for that miscommunication... I call interlock oh yeah you need to call when you are getting close to calibration so we can send the cable to the installer. Oh well that is news to us. So Dwight says ok well get that out overnight and it will be there Monday. Husband gets in car Monday morning to go to work, locked out of device, I call interlock Dwight states must be something causing it to lock out. So Dwight looks into situation while on the phone i asked if he could make sure the materials that were to be sent out friday were sent out? He looks oh no it doesn't look like it... SO after looking into situation we find out that the installer had the device needed since Wednesday so when my husband went in on Friday the things needed for calibraiton were actually there. So I voice my frustration and complaints, Dwight tells me husband needs to call Gene or Neil to have device unlocked. Husband calls in Gene doesn't answer he then proceeds to talk to Neil who says who are you I don't recall talking to you. Husband states no you talked to ALISON . Husband tells him what he needs, Neil says oh I cant help you with that I don't have the code to unlock your device. Dwight comes back on tells husband we can't turn it back on until 3:00 30 minutes prior to his calibration appointment. Calls at 2:45 on hold for all but 30 minutes before Dwight came on to help him get his device unlocked... gets to installer is told they do not know how to do his calibration on his machine but they do it anyhow. Husband in turn gets a phone call from interlock today two after his calibration stating his unit is due to be serviced. WHAT IN THE HELL is going on at interlock. With this much miscommunication a place that runs like this shouldn't be in business. I filed a negative review here and I will be calling penn dot to inform them of the disrespect from the installer and miscommunications from both installer and vendor.
