We had the best experience with Highland Diamond. I had been in once before for a simple resizing but was blown away by the services for my engagement ring design. My fiancé proposed with a family ring consisting of diamonds from his grandmother, great grandmother, and great aunts ring. It was beautiful, but did not fit. We went it to learn more about resizing and redesigning. Katherine was amazing and helped us during the entire process. We are so pleased with how the new ring turned out! It honors the original diamonds, protects them in a beautiful setting and is better than we could have imagined. We will definitely be back for all of our jewelry needs.

I bought an engagement ring here. They were, first and foremost, very friendly and easy to work with. They guided me through the process from start to finish. They also followed up on emails when I forgot to respond so the process did not take forever due to my own inattention. On top of the great service, they gave me a great price as a graduate student who did not have a ton of money to spend. Though, I was more fortunate than others in the size of my budget. I would never call this place cheap. I would call it reasonable, personal, professional, and kind. I cannot recommend them enough to anyone who wants a top quality engagement ring.

Circling back regarding this review to appreciate and acknowledge the owner's proactive communication and efforts to rectify the situation. Their prompt response is appreciated, and I've updated the star rating (from 2 to 4 stars) on this review accordingly. However regrettably, due to my experience, as well as the handling of certain aspects when resolving, and misinformation in the owner's google response, I've decided not to revisit the shop. Not a great first impression. Lovely selection of diamonds & jewelry, but service and quality of work needs significant improvement.

I live in the neighborhood & went in for a quick watch battery replacement. When my watch was returned it had a large scratch on the bottom where the battery was replaced.

I know 100% the scratch was not there prior as I inspected my watch throughly before handing it over to them. (Photo shows minor scratches on the bottom as the watch is a few years old, but the large scratch was made the man (owner?) that replaced the battery).

This is not acceptable & very disappointed he would not be more careful. Unfortunately I did not see the scratch until after leaving.

Regardless of jewelry brand or cost, all items should be handled with care.

My watch is a danish brand, & to replace the battery through the company itself, would have had to mail to Denmark. Compared to other jewelers in the area, Highland Diamond charges slightly more for a battery replacement ($25), which I was fine with due to convenience of location.

In addition, the man was not the friendliest or most welcoming. As I looked around the shop while waiting, his attitude/tone also reflected in how he spoke to his associate Karen during various moments when she was trying to help straighten up the shop (would think if a customer is present in the shop, one would be more mindful in how they speak to their staff.)

Coming from a family line of entrepreneurs and a business owner myself, you notice everything.

Karen on the other hand provided excellent customer service as I waited for the replacement. Thank you again Karen.

We have been customers of Highland Diamond throughout our engagement into our wedding. Throughout our time, they have been professional, flexible, and very accommodating. Prior to our engagement, my wife and I worked with Katherine to try a variety of rings and diamonds. She provided great education and guidance during the process and helped to make my wife's vision come true! More than satisfied with her engagement ring, there was no question who we would go to for our wedding rings. Again, nothing but professionalism and excellent guidance in helping us bring our visions to reality for our wedding rings. My wife and I are both super pleased with the final products. Every time we are in the store, everyone is super kind, accommodating, and takes the time to discuss what it is you are looking for and will steer you in the right direction. Needless to say, as long as we live in the Atlanta area, Highland Diamond will be our jewelry store of choice for any and all jewelry needs that arise!

We have found a jeweler for life in Highland Diamond. From our very first visit to learn about different types of diamonds, to the custom engagement ring my husband built with John, to every piece of special jewelry in between, Highland has been amazing to work with. We love stopping in to chat with John, who always has the perfect recommendation for us. On top of our amazing wedding bands, him and his wife helped my husband pick out the most beautiful necklace for my wedding gift.
