All aspects of Gaslight Heat Services is professional, courteous and of a high standard. Each time I phoned the main person, their response was clear and to the point. If there was something I didn't understand, my questions were answered clearly, and as it turned out, accurately. The onsite electrician saw what he needed to do and prepared the electrical circuit for the heat pump installation the next day. The following day the two installers arrived and after several hours installed the heat pump. The two installers also conducted themselves throughout installation in a professional and courteous manner. I would not hesitate to recommend Gas Light Services. An excellent outcome for everyone. We just had a new boiler/hot water system installed, and were well-pleased with the installation work and the three professionals from Gaslight who did the job for us. I would give this company ten stars and especially their service technician Lucas. Our strata at the Aria hired Gaslight for the annual gas fireplace inspection. Fantastic. Lucas had to work hard to accurately diagnose why the fan wasn't working. He was patient, determined and cheerful while trying to get to the botttom of it. And he figured it out- a truly committed technician. Highly recommend this firm. Good hire with Lucas folks.

I went to the company who installed my hot water on demand, who had installed this unit to work with my forced air furnace.
As I was having issues with the unit. I felt very uncomfortable with his answers.
A Friend recommend another company who had fixed problems with the same type of unit I had. After 3 tries and things still did not work, My son found Gaslight Heat Services on the internet. The next day I went right to their office. From the moment I walked into Gaslight Jennifer Totally surprised me. In taking notes what all my problems were, so that she could provide Gordon with all the information he would need. Jennifer phoned me the next day and let me know Gordon would be there between 2-3 pm. I showed him my water heater on demand, and gave him time to look at everything. He suggested a few things and said he would be back the next day.
I got a call in the morning from Jennifer that they would have 2 techs by and was only going to be paying for 1 of the techs.
To my surprise when he came Gordon let me know that he had brought the other tech to learn about how to take care of the problems I was experiencing. They only charged me for one tech to my surprise.
The 2 work on it for 3-4 hrs, and changed a whole bunch of things.
It was working when he left, but soon another problem appeared, with new code on the unit.
Gordon came back the next day to figure out why this was happening.
He had a hard time to figure it out. Then I Said to him that I still had the part in the Garage that the last company installed, and if it would be helpful if I showed to him.
I put the part on the table, he checked it over, He said I think this is the problem.
The tech person from the other company, had cut a sensor wire off the old unit and installed it on the new unit.

Gordon said that we would have to replace the wires.
He let me know if we could get the part here, but he informed me
we would have to order from Japan and the eta would be approx 6 weeks to get.
Lucky for me it was now June and not so cold anymore. So I said order the part and when it arrives fix it.
He informed me that there was no warranty on my unit, and showed me in the owners manual.
The company who installed water heater on demand if it was used for a furnace there was no warranty at all.
But the company that originally installed at great cost did not bother to warn me about this. What I think was very low.
Gordon came back in August and installed the wire piece.
He had to take the whole unit out again to install this wire piece.
It was a big job and he came by himself.
I left him alone in my basement to install this part. I checked up on him every once in a while. At one point I could see that he had problems with the old screws to use them again.
I said to him that I still had new parts left from the other companies installation of the new replacement unit.
There were lots of new screws still in the packages. That made his work a lot easier.
I was fascinated how he was working so I stayed watching him.
But when he had the unit ready to put back in I could see him struggling to do it by himself. It was a pretty heavy unit holding it in place and putting mounting screws on at same time.
So I offered to help him hold the unit in place so he could put the mounting screw on.
He finished off the job and left.
A week later I had to call Gaslight again That if we took a shower we would have cold water at the end.
Jennifer called Gordon right away and told him about my problem.He said to tell me to take the filter out of the shower head because it may be restricting the hot water flow.
My wife and I took it out and was the last of our problems.
Now 4 months later it is working great and I can not thank him enough.
I highly recommend Gaslight to anybody I know.
