Normally reliable, but just had one of the worst portions of chips you can get from a chip shop. They were rock hard and inedible. Would have been a 1 star review but have given credit for past visits.

Really appreciate the offer from the owner to replace my meal, although I didn’t manage to take them up on it, it was very gracious of them to ask. Thanks.

One of the worst meals I’ve had the unfortunate to eat mozzarella were orange inside certainly not mozzarella garlic bread so salty and chips swimming in grease used to be best chip shop in Hamilton not anymore my full dinner went in bin I will never order from here agai

Service at Equi's can be quite abrupt and inconsistent, and the quality of the food can vary wildly. My recent order of a sausage supper and fritter was disappointing and is consistent with another recent reviewer's experience.

The sausage was anemic, and the batter was soft and spongy, with no crispness at all. The fritter was undercooked inside and greasy. The chips were lackluster as well. Overall, not a great experience.

Equi's response to this review is disappointing. Instead of addressing the issue, they have chosen to respond defensively and dismissively. Their comment, "Sorry to hear this, clearly you don’t like Equi’s, maybe time to buy your sausage and single fritter elsewhere," comes off as unprofessional.

Can’t even get a simple order correct after being told multiple times, too busy chatting amongst themselves.

Reply: was in tonight and missing 3 pickles and a fritter from my order didn’t realise until I got home. Was in roughly 6pm and 2 women busy talking and not paying attention had to keep repeating order

Asked for 2 chicken breast was not told it was half chickens these were disgusting thick with grease got thrown out to foxes won't be back couldn't eat chips either they were soggy and greasy as well used to be able to get a lovely chicken breast think you should I ld be able to let your customers know what they are getting will definitely not be back. Very dissatisfied
