Literally so rude . I was with my friends and we were walking around and looking at the jewelry and for maybe 20 minutes, and this entire time just looking at us like we were thieves and then the man at the counter came up to us and said “ we are closing the store JUST for you guys, please leave.” like? Kicked us out when we were going to buy something within the next maybe 5 minutes. Didn’t know that there was a time restriction or that possibly profiling people to be thieves was allowed or should be tolerated. We didn’t say anything and just left but, whatever.

Embellish is an awesome store. I have bought several things there. The owner is amazing & so helpful. I am sad the store will be closing but I totally understand why. 🩷🩷🩷

A young person of color was accused of stealing a ring in this store today. When the ring was discovered under another ring on the ring stand, the owner, did not apologize for searching the child's bag or for assuming the kid had stolen the ring. The child left humiliated. No doubt she will remember this humiliation for the rest of her life. No doubt her family is suffering with her over this. Embellish owes this kid an apology.
