I have had East point power company for almost 1 year. Since December my power bill has increased significantly from the first few power bills. I do not understand why. I called them on Wednesday and was told I need to put in a customer complaint form through their site and I would have a call back within 24 hours . Today is Friday afternoon and I have yet to receive a call to discuss this significant increase. There has continuously been the same amount of power used I need this to be addressed before I make any payments. I am unhappy with the way the customer service has been with this company. I have never been late on a payment but I’m positive if I ever were I would have received numerous calls and texts for me submit a payment. I am requesting that same attentiveness to when I have a question about my bill.

Thanks

I’m not sure why black women are like this but is distasteful. The woman who helped me out today was short and slightly rude. This is my first time having to cite my unities in this way. To every question I had she responded in a way that made me feel like I was bothering her but she had time to answer her personal call while doing my transaction on her Apple Watch. My word of advice to her would be, if you’re going to work in a customer based environment, find some skill to show when doing your “job”. I probably will it live in east point long due to this small introduction. The ambience in there gives ghetto.

I sent an email asking for assistance on how to do a transfer of my utility service and got a response from someone named Tanikah Byrd she not only gave me the wrong information but also sent over the wrong forms and failed to tell me all of the steps of successfully doing this transfer. I went up to the customer care office today 3.14.25 just to be told I didn’t have all the necessary documents, I had the wrong forms and I was trying to do the transfer for of service too early. This is ridiculous, you all need to make sure your workers actually know what they are talking about so that things like this can be avoided! Complete waste of my time. If your gonna still require us to do stuff like this in person instead of online like Everyone else( hello it’s 2025!) then do it right! And stop wasting people’s time.

Power is out every week with no explanation. The website is absolute garbage. Getting utilities started/ cancelled is a difficult and expensive process. Surely the rates must be good if the service is so terrible. No it's all bad. I'm leaving East Point and the worst thing about living here was the utilities. I didn't mind the gunshots.

Do not understand why the customer should have to pay $150 for line drop and another additional $150 to restore power for a tree dangling over the power line. No other power companies are charging for this service. This is a safy issue, not a money grab!

If I had known the electrical power in the city of East Point would go out every other day, I would have never purchased a home there. I work from home & it is totally ridiculous that the power goes out so often, but miss paying the bill on time!!! I wished that the citizens of East Point could sign a petition to have GA. Power take over the electrical system in East Point. Can this be done? There are just too damn many power outages in East Point & the customer service stinks!!! I'm sure my manager get so tired of hearing me say, I can't get a task completed because the power is out!! East Point, please don't make me lose my job!!

Make sure before you enter this place you are in a peaceful mindset because they will take you back to the 1800s with their technology and understanding of their system. Also, they (electrical company)charge garbage fee on top of your apartment complex charging you additional garbage fee which is somehow illegal, but I don’t know how they’re getting away with it.

Started calling these folks last Friday, September 6th & was told their phone lines were down so discussing my bill wasn't an option. Called back today, Monday and was told the phone lines are still down. It wouldn't have been so bad if not for the rudeness of the rep who did answer the phone. She cut me off mid sentence multiple times as I attempted to ask questions & her tone was at best, dismissive. I often wonder how people remain in customer service positions while providing God awful customer service. So unfortunate.
