I ordered cryogenic tubes and cardboard freezer boxes (10 units) from Capitol Scientific. After about two months and several attempts to contact them, I discovered that the tubes were on backorder, which is understandable. However, I was shocked to be charged $28 for the freezer boxes and an additional $54 for shipping, only to receive the box separators (the dividers inside the boxes that hold the tubes).

Despite multiple attempts to reach the seller, I was informed that I would need to place another order to get the actual boxes! This is unacceptable. No one answers the phone, and my emails go unanswered. I feel like I have wasted both my time and money with this supplier. If I could give negative stars, I would rate them -5

Skeptical, I totally understand their process. However, they call for CVV code on the phone etc... I do think they really need to change in a better way. Good luck

Great company! Called them up, placed my order and paid over the phone. Picked up my order the next time I was in the area. Smooth transaction and better prices than anywhere else I found online that would have had to ship my order.

Kelly and Rich rock out loud-they are always willing to put in the extra effort to search for the thriftiest option at my request =). I have transitioned to using Capitol Scientific exclusively for our cleanroom consumables/chemicals/gowning/PPE/etc. as well as many other items used in labs throughout our facilities here at TxState...unbeatable pricing and great customer service, couldn't ask for better and they are local company to boot!
