I just started a new job. I had an insurance change and my paycheck also changed to once a month. Needless to say…everything has changed in my life. I’m also new to having a CPAP machine. So dealing with insurance and billing I thought I had everything figured out. Well of course when it rains it pours. Starting this new job threw off finances because I had a gap in getting my first check. I also thought I had covered my bases on fixing my billing date for different companies that receive money from me monthly.
I feel like I was in a rut checking my demanding new job’s email all day long on the computer …I was only checking my personal email on my cell phone. There had been a few payments with American Medical Supply that I thought I understood the details of what was taking place. However I was so wrong…I thought I had signed up for bill pay, but I guess I never completed the process.
So today I had $0.97 in my bank account and money is super tight for both myself and my husband. He gave me $30.00 for gas and to tide me over until I got paid this weekend. Well I went and deposited the cash into my bank account. When it gave me the balance, the bank receipt said I was negative $27.00. So I was completely screwed…on getting gas to make it to work the rest of the week. When I checked my bank account AME had charged me for my monthly fee. I thought the date had been changed reflecting my new pay schedule.
I was really mad and upset…I tried to keep it together. I called AME and tried to stay calm…but I told them right away I was upset and explained my situation. They listened and understood my dilemma. Then I was transferred to the GM and I started explaining everything. She stopped me and took a real human approach and said “how can I help you”. She had a solution and explained I had never registered for automatic bill pay. Like I said I’m new to all of this and I had messed up by not checking my email on the computer. My phone was only showing part of the information I was getting through the emails AME was sending me. Again I was still upset over my situation. All I can say is the GM had a real human approach and is such a KIND and wonderful individual. Based on everything I was going through she made sure I was covered and even sought me out to deliver some assistance. I cannot tell you enough how thankful I was to have someone listen to me and give out a helping hand to a client. They are amazing people and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a local business. I mean they are in the business to assist people with great needs, big and small…I was just blown away by their KINDNESS and my gratitude was overwhelming. Thank you AME for being a business really committed to their clients and has such a human approach to solving issues swiftly. I am truly thankful for being apart of their community that they serve.

I had been calling several Medicsl Supply stores that will bill Medicare and 2nd Insurance. When I called American Medical Roger answered the phone and knew exactly what Medicare wanted/needed for a transport chair for my 97 yo mom. We drove to the store and Kendal understood what we wanted and the paperwork necessary for both insurances to cove. She faxed the doctor and once she receives the correct wording from doctor she will send off to Medicare . I did not have to do anything! Talk about complete full circle service!
They could not have been nicer or more helpful.
I am so thankful.

Bought several items at this store back a few weeks. My husband passed before we used any of it. Tried to return it and was told I didn't buy it there even though I had the receipt and none of the packages were open Had their store stickers still on them. Have learned a hard lesson not to go there again. Be careful when you buy there and make sure you can return.
