Access Trax is an amazing and empowering company dedicated to providing accessible pathways for all. I had the good fortune of finding Kelly Twichel, co-founder of Access Trax when searching online for accessible solutions for my wedding. My father is a wheelchair user and both him and I dreamed of him walking me down the aisle for my wedding. Access Trax was able to provide an accessible pathway for my dad to make our dream come true. This was such an incredible and special moment that I will never forget.

I have had my trax for about a year now and I am absolutely in LOVE with them! I used to have a love hate relationship with the beach because being a wheelchair user and sand don’t mix very well. I had to be carried on and off the beach but never had the freedom/independence to come and go as I pleased. But NOW with my trax that has all changed. I keep them in the truck of my car so I have them everywhere I go. Thank you Access Trax for allowing me to fall in love with the beach all over again!

I run a nonprofit, Adaptive Freedom Foundation, where we take people with disabilities out on wheelchair adaptive stand up paddle boards. Access Trax have been a game changer for our event! They make it possible to get our participants down to the water and create an area where their wheelchairs can be parked together and everyone can enjoy the beach together ?

These worked amazingly well, super light weight and easy to connect. We were able to get my father out on the sand on his powered chair numerous times during the vacation which was awesome. Even with just six panels placed into sections of three, we’d have him drive to the end of three and then pick up the three previous once and place them in front again and continue this until we got to the area we were hanging out. We considered a beach chair but were concerned with how comfortable they’d be as well as worrying about having to transfer chairs back and forth. This eliminated both concerns and he had an amazing time sitting with family on the beach.
