I bought a Vermeer wood chipper here a few months ago. They had it priced right and I’m glad I got my hands on such a useful piece of equipment. I was a little hesitant after seeing some of the negative reviews but after speaking with the owner you can tell he’s an honest businessman. Yes, do your due diligence checking out whatever piece of equipment your buying. But as for me and in my case I could not be happier with the machine I got, It’s been a great addition to my business and I’ve been making money with it ever since I bought it from Travis county equipment specialist!

I brought my son pictured here on the left when I came to pick up the machine. The owner had his grandsons here and they showed my son around the property. My son had a great time running around the property with the other boys. Very pleasant buying experience indeed - I plan on being a repeat customer!

My company Noble Broadband has been using Tavis Co Equipment Specialist for 10 + years now. They have provided us with excellent service from full rebuild of our equipment to the basic oil change. They also have helped us out in purchasing new and used equipment. I highly recommend Jose and his staff when it comes to any repairs needed. This is a family owned business and they take pride in their work.

We have never dealt with someone that was so untruthful and delayed about everything. These folks made excuses and held our equipment for weeks and returned it completely dismantled in worse condition than when we took it to them. We now have an expensive piece of machinery and a box of parts that is worth practically nothing! These folks may be okay for small mobile repairs but never leave your property at their shop! We are filing a lawsuit against them in small claims court because the owner would not help remedy any problems and began to use inappropriate language with me and my staff when we asked when we could pick up our property. UPDATE: Now, after five years they are claiming that I paid with a hot check. Absolutely untrue and ridiculous. These folks are liars & thieves!

If I could give this place no stars I would, this place is dishonest, untrustworthy and will rob you if given the chance! After sending in a tractor to get some minor repairs we got it back but not only were we charged for services we didn't ask for, we were also charged for 9 hours of labor when we were only there maybe 5 hours max! We will never come back to this place and to anyone who wants an honest and well done service STAY FAR AWAY!

Buyer beware when buying used equipment from these people. I bought a roller from these people only to find many problems with the fuel system. I should have been more diligent and brought my own mechanic to check it out. My fault. It was impossible for them to not know about the fuel problems on this machine. That is why they had it waiting for me ready to test after they primed the leaky fuel system which they knew would leak down over night and not start. They got me once but never again.
