New coolant tank apparently after receiving a bill for £1284 for new waterpump thermostat and coolant tank replacement that rose from £1150 that I was told on the phone was all in. Asked why the price increase was told by the woman in the office coolant ? don't know of any coolant that has gold flakes in it. Will be contacting trading standards in the morning.
Gone down bank since new ownership adding to account ac autos response I am not a new customer I have been using that garage for 10+ years. It is you that is new. 1st of all the cooling system was never run dry it was topped up when the hose leak was noticed. Secondly there was no mention of any leak repairing agent and thirdly you have charged for new coolant tank that you clearly haven't replaced which brings me to think have you replaced the water pump and thermostat?

My stepson took his car here for new tyres and was charged a premium with no options of tyres to choose from. Whilst there he also asked about his exhaust that seemed to be hanging low and after a 2 second look was told the part will cost £200 and about the same again in labour. He took it to another dealership to get another quote and was quoted £140 to supply and fit the new exhaust, and when they had it up they called him to advise 2 wheels were unsafe due to not having been balanced. Turned out to be the 2 wheels they have fitted new tyres to. Avoid at all costs. Must have been taken over as has always been very trustworthy over many years.

The other dealership had nothing to gain by rectifying the wheels not being safe or balanced as they didn’t charge for it. And the issue was not the concern over using cheap parts, you were quoting more than double other places without even obtaining quotes for the parts needed.

I've been going to this garage for many years and I've just had my BMW serviced (full) and as normal excellent service throughout and a great price, customer care is fantastic and would recommend this garage to anyone. My son has just had his timing chain done on his BMW X5 at this garage and was really impressed with their service they provide. Highly recommended ?

I was acquainted with the previous owner of this garage and always recommended them. Recently, Ricky took over the business. I hoped the quality would remain consistent, but I must say, it has indeed improved. They offer prompt service, excellent customer care, and very competitive prices. I am pleased and plan to continue using this garage for the foreseeable future.

I had an issue with the brakes on my vehicle that had been fitted last year prior to the new ownership, Ricky was so helpful and obliging that the matter was resolved straight away. He went above and beyond my expectations, absolutely excellent customer service, I will certainly use this garage for my future motoring needs.

I spent a year looking for my SL before I took the plunge. It’s utterly unmarked, full service history, never even had an advisory on an MOT and absolutely pristine.
While in their care for a vacuum pump replacement they forced the boot lock and irreparably damaged it.
They also removed the centre, boot brake light to get in to the boot.
This is the damage they did whilst levering the light out with some sort of metal tool then tried to hide the damage with touch up paint. ?
It’s hard to see but the entire area below the light is also dented.
The photo at the top is before they did the damage.
I’m absolutely gutted and fuming.
I’ve only just managed to retrieve the car after four months.
The saga is ongoing.
This is just an appalling way to treat the property of others.
I have just had to pay £500 to rectify the faults caused by the mistreatment of my car.
What is worse is that today I had my car MOTd and it failed because of a missing wheel bolt on a wheel they had to remove to complete one of the jobs.
I have included a photo of the car before they had it to prove the damage was not pre-existing. To date Ricky had refused to pay for the repairs but HAS accepted responsibility for the damage and has sacked the worker involved.
The above is all in emails and I’d be happy to see him in court should he wish to refute any of the above.
