I bought a pair of boots on April 12th after being recommended to the place by a colleague while I traveling to the Quad Cities. I bought a pair of Michelin boots that were a little tight because they did not have a wide version onsite and that I could return it within 30 days if the boots were clean. On April 13th, I brought the boots to work and used them to cross the factory floor to where my cubicle would be located. I noticed while wearing it in the office that they were really uncomfortable on my ankle as I walked. I came to the store on April 14th just before returning to Des Moines to exchange for wider boots. They said I could not return the boots because I had worn them at work despite the boots being in new condition. Had I known this store had this policy, I would not have bought the boots. This is a $176.50 reminder for me to never shop here again and I will not recommend this store to anyone I know.

Wife bought some work shoes here. Good service when purchased. However, the boots were worn for 1 day and were extremely uncomfortable. Will not take returns. Nope. Disappointed

I’ve herd people say they where to expensive but my husband got his boots $20 dollars cheaper then Theisens and my boots where 10 bucks more on Amazon so all and all we saved $30 … they have a decently large selection as well

12/26/23 I believe this is a normal business day. Website says the store is open. I have tried to call 3 times today to discuss a problem with defective boots. I am placed on hold immediately after making a selection from the automated answering service . I have been on hold for 28 minutes now. I guess they only do business face to face.
