This is a great experience for third graders. This is a 'mini city' where children go to learn bike safety, vehicle traffic safety, fire safety, and a few other things. This place is so cool and what they offer is unique to anything else I have seen!

I came here in the 3rd grade (83-84) and I really enjoyed it; it was a great experience! Wish my kids and grandkids could come here and experience it like I did

I volunteered with my son school. My son had a accident last year with a bike which he has anxiety about bikes also has special services already. After the meeting Mr. Steve took kid's outside once my son saw the bikes he refused to walk and stood there. Mr. Steve told him took sit in the freezing cold for the whole time. I asked to speak to my child they told me I couldn't. Finally I get to my child and he wants to try the carts but Mr. Steve refuses to let him participate. I took off work missed a day of pay to watch my son sit on table. I was told Mr. Steve treat kids like this he thinks are an issue even though my child has special services. Kids camd to me laughing about my child because they thought he could not ride asking why he's not participating.lack of compassion and distasteful. Also him went to bathroom to keep warm was told to stand outside. Even an hour an asked if he could try was told it was to late. Were there from 9am to 12pm

Its been years since been here. I remember good times here. Have not been in abilene since early 2000s when i was in middle school. I wonder if they allow visitors other then school. Would love to bring my 2 kids.

We were in Abilene for a convention and were taken there by a couple of local ladies. This is a wonderful program for third graders and was very informative.
