Negative 29 Stars. Total incompetence at running a business. I have owned my house since 2004 and every year I cannot pay my Municipal Utility District bill online because Equi-Tax refuses to update my account with a correct phone number. The phone number on the website only has a voicemail. They NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE. Send an email to them .... ha ha ha ha ha. They are just teasing you to think they will reply. Horrible people who intentionally provide NO SERVICE! Not bad service, no service at all.

We bought a new property with that we are business savy and know to research before sending payment. These scammers tried to get us for almost 900 on property tax we know nothing about. We confirmed through the TDLR hotline that these people have 3 tax collections operatoring out of this address and all their licenses are expired.
Beware.
I called them back and they got rude with us. Scam scam scam

I would like for someone to explain to me why am i getting this tax bill. I don't have a homeowner's association and I have been living in my home for 18 years all of a sudden in the past few years I started to get another tax bill with no explanation but to pay it or get fees added on by some attorney's office. Just another way to control homeowners. I pay enough taxes. How long will we have to pay for this?

Worthless website to obtain a tax statement from and phone during operating hours just remains busy for hour after hour. Nice gig for the owner/employee(s); not so great for its customers.
