I reached out to rent a few pieces for my daughter’s first birthday and the team was great! Huge shout out to Chris for coordinating my order. The equipment was in great condition and added to our party tremendously.

I did not have a good experience with this company. I rented a large tent, chairs, tables and glasses from this company. I was told I would have my tent delivered on Thursday for my daughters wedding on Saturday, the tent was not delivered until Friday afternoon and set up was completed Friday evening. There was many things i planned to use as decor for the tent but never got the chance to despite pulling an all nighter to get dance floor, tables, chairs, florals, table setting and what should have been lighting in the tent. They kept giving me the run around about the tent. The fact that I did not get the tent delivered until late pushed everything else for my daughters wedding down and there was simply not enough time to get it done.
They were suppose to give me 50 chairs and I only received 47. then proceeded to call me back saying I only ordered 47 when my invoice clearly stated 50.
There website says the tent was $400 less than they charged me stating it says prices are subject to change.
This was not an isolated incident as a friend of mine ordered a tent from them 6 days before my event and the same thing happened as they delivered very late and she was left scrambling trying to finish set up before the start of her event.
Although it was a very nice tent The tent came with a whole in it. I was so very frustrated and dissapointed because I wanted my daughters wedding to be as close to perfect as possible.
The only complensation offered to me was no taxes and $100 off if I paid by cash or check. Surely not enought for all the stress they caused.

One star is too generous for the experience I had here. After a mistake with my rental last year in reference to delivery, I decided to give them another chance this year as I try to support local businesses. That was a mistake. It’s now four days before my party and the water slide I rented was supposedly “double booked and already paid for” by another customer…despite the fact that you don’t prepay for their rentals. I’ve heard about 6 different stories about what happened, and when called today to be told by Ian there was a discrepancy with how pricing was set up on their end I SPECIFICALLY asked if I would still be able to have it delivered and was told yes, just for Jack to call me back and tell me the “it’s booked” story. He told me he was going to make it right by giving me a larger water slide at the same price, which I initially appreciated, until I was told it takes 5 guys to set up so I need to pay an extra $200 for delivery. It’s interesting how every person I’ve spoken to here has given me a different story and it keeps changing throughout. I repeatedly told him he did not care about the customer or to make this right due to something that was THEIR mistake. I ordered this two months in advance so I’m not sure how that happens. Now it’s four days before my party and I have to scramble to find a different one. I understand mistakes happen and we’re all human, but you make it right when it’s YOUR mistake.

Renting from Taunton rental seemed to be going well until they actually came to drop off my order. I was handed an invoice that was different from the original invoice that was emailed to me. Somebody went in and changed the price for labor and delivery, but never called me and informed me of the change. When I called to inquire about this change I was met with attitude and rudeness and hung up on. I was told if I didn’t like the fact that the invoice had changed then I didn’t have to pay it and they would take the tent and tables and chairs back. Obviously with an event being the next day, I could not refuse the rental so I had no choice but to pay the new invoice. The owner did talk to my brother (yes I am a woman and when it was me who called nothing was done) and split the difference with me, but given this was their error that they didn’t correct I do not feel I should’ve had to pay the additional $50. The man who was rude to me did call and apologize. However, the situation was not really made correct. They should have honored the original invoice that they sent out and agreed upon. As you can see from the photo of my original invoice and the invoice that I received the day of they went in and changed the price and the delivery date. The delivery date reflected an August 9 drop off even though the original invoice was for August 10 and it WAS delivered August 10, which happened to be tax-free weekend. By changing it to the ninth, deposit it being delivered the 10th, they were still able to charge me the sales tax as well. Overall, I feel like I was scammed and would not recommend anybody rent from Taunton rental.

There was an issue with a bounce house that I rented for my kid's birthday party. It was late (due to short staffed and busy deliveries)and there was damage to the Princess bounce house I requested. Taunton Rental provided me with the larger bounce house and water slide combo and did not charge me a penny for the rental or delivery. I think this is great customer service on their end and worthy of a 5 star review. I've rented from them for several years now and they've always been professional, courteous and helpful.

Rented a Kubota for yard work . Everyone there is great, friendly , professional , and knowledgeable. Jack was great and personable . Clinton dropped off and picked up the machine on time . They contacted me after to make sure I was satisfied and made me feel good about doing business with them. I would highly recommend using Taylor Rental in Taunton for any of your rental needs. They have everything you could possibly need and they take care of their customers . I will be renting equipment from them very soon again . Thanks again !!!

Literally the worst experience I've ever had with a rental company. 1 star is still too generous of a review rating. My husband and I had our wedding reception for 10/7/22 and we received our delivery (10/6/22) with our linens being the wrong measurements, along with the wrong chairs. My husband and I went to the rental center and talked with the owner Pete, who reported that he took the order and told me to my and my husband's face that we "obviously didn't know what we were talking about/didnt know what we wanted" as far as measurements and what we needed . We got a refund for the chairs and linens and we asked for a refund on our delivery fee, as we believed we shouldnt be responsible for a fee of incorrect items being delivered. Pete, the owner then told us no because he was losing a good amount of money on an order that HE took down wrong. He repetedly reported to us that he himself took down the order, and that he takes down all orders. We gave him all the specifics of our table measurements (height, width, length etc) months in advance and confirmed them with him several times via phone. And by the way Pete denied to show us our order information/statement when we asked to see what he took down to see if we had made a mistake when ordering (when we visited the rental company on 10/6). He continued to deny a refund for our delivery fee, and proceeded to take my debit card and swipe it regardless as I was continuing to try to state our case of how we should not being responsible for a delivery fee with orders that were wrong, on top of FOEGETTING additional order items. He told me "well thats not happening have a good day" as he swiped and gave back the card. This all happened the day before our reception. We were convinced we were going to need to cancel our reception. There is a reason that there aren't any reviews on the direct site, and I don't believe that it will be up for very long, as it will probably be deleted very quickly. But dont worry, i'll find another place to post this and get the word out. As i never want someone to go through what my husband and i went through with this company and individual. Pete, the owner was very disrespectful and unprofessional and even hung up on my mother in law regarding the matter of our pick up time for our dishes on (10/8). They were over 2 hours late picking up and told my mother in law "we'll get them when we feel like it" and (as i said before) proceeded to abruptly hang up the call. Absolutely horrible experience with the rudest and most unprofessional individual. Luckily we were able to find chairs and linens from a family friend and an additional company that was able to provide us with our chairs and despite the disrespect and unprofessionalism we experienced with Pete and Taunton Rental Center we were were able to still pull off our dream wedding. If you're looking for a bounce house, sure I'm sure they can provide you with that, but your wedding needs? I urge you to pass on Taunton Rental Center and pick another rental center.
